Recently, we integrated weather metrics into both Run Activities and Events on the web.
New Weather Details You’ll See
To give you the most complete picture of the conditions influencing your athletes’ training and racing, we now track and display the following key data points:
- Temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius)
- Wet Bulb Temperature: A crucial measure for assessing heat stress.
- Humidity
- Wind Speed and Direction
How It Works for Activities
- When You’ll See It: Weather data will appear on your athletes’ run activities (Easy, Quality, Race) on the web after the GPS data has been imported.
- Where to Find It: Look for weather conditions on the right sidebar, just below the Accuracy section.
- Conditions Captured: The data reflects the conditions that existed during the middle of the athlete’s activity, providing an accurate snapshot of the running environment. For popular Races, you’ll also find the forecasted weather three days before the event on the athlete’s calendar.

Race Day Ready: Weather for Events
- Race Forecasts: For popular scheduled races, you will see the weather forecast starting three days before the event on an athlete’s calendar.
- Actual Conditions: On race day, this will automatically update to reflect the actual weather conditions encountered, providing essential post-race analysis.
- Where to Find It: Navigate to our Races & Results, choose an event, then view under Race Details on the right sidebar.
