Gina Mauricio is now in her second year using VDOT O2 to manage her clients. During that time her business has gone from a handful of recreational runners to over 50 ranging from 29-75 years of age. In the last year her coaching has produced multiple personal bests and BQs.
“It has been a blast helping people achieve their best with the knowledge I have from graduate school. I actually had Dr. Jack Daniels as my exercise science professor at A.T. Still University, so I was excited when I learned about this platform and the chance to use his running formulas.”
“The VDOT O2 app and assigned training paces has reinforced the message to my runners that faster is not better to achieve optimal results. It is not just me saying it, but formulas backed by evidence-based research. My runners have proven that these formulas can be applied successfully to recreational marathon runners, 29-75 years young. The ability to upload your VDOT paces to Garmin IQ will take the game to the next level and allow runners to train more intentionally to achieve their goals”.
